ROKAJ Fest 2008

After summing up the successful start in 2006 and even more successful sequel in 2007, we are proud to say that Rokaj tradition has been created.

Rokaj Fest is largely recognized brand in Croatia, even the whole region. In the spirit of what´s been achieved so far, project and brand Rokaj continue to move on up, with an idea of growing and developing into an even greater event, possibly a movement.

Discovering Jarun last year as the new music destination in Zagreb, Rokaj Fest 2008 will be held at the same open air location, from July 4th – July 6th, right after Euro 2008, and as such it remains the only 3-day music festival in Zagreb to be held on weekends.

With the festival´s growth, it´s been decided that, in its 3^rd year of existence, Rokaj Fest expands its program by introducing some of the world´s leading performers.

This expansion does not mean that Rokaj Fest is giving up the idea of promoting and strengthening the local music scene as the priority, but it represents the logical progress of a well-established festival.

What remains the festival´s primary objective is a tried & true formula: Strong line up and low ticket price.
